TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

It may be beneficial for you to read the Legal Notice below before using the Anglian Meat Products Limited website, sending e-mails to Anglian Meat Products Limited (‘Anglian Meat Products’) or submitting articles, polls or interacting in any way.

TERMS OF USE AND LEGAL RESTRICTIONS ATTENTION: PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS Anglian Meat Products WEBSITE. BY USING THIS WEBSITE YOU INDICATE THAT YOU ACCEPT THESE TERMS. 

DELIVERY

We operate a comprehensive UK mainland distribution next day delivery service excluding the Scottish highlands and Islands. The charge for this service will be £4.94 plus VAT at the prevailing rate, irrespective of the size of the order.

Unfortunately due to higher courier charges we cannot deliver to Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and the Scottish highlands and islands. This is any postcodes starting with AB31 - AB38, AB41 6-8, AB42 0-5, AB43 - AB45, AB51- AB56.  BT, FK19- FK21, GY, HS, IM, IV, JE, KA27 - KA28, KW,  PA20 - PA49, PA60 - PA78, PH1, PH5 –  PH11, PH15- PH50, TR21 - TR25,  ZE .

*The service we offer concerning delivery of your goods is as follows:

a) Orders that are received by us by 12.00 hours will be delivered on the next working day;
b) Orders that are received by us after 12.00 hours will be delivered on the day following the next working day.

*The service we offer concerning orders received with frozen products is as follows:
a) Orders that are received by us by 12.00 hours Monday - Thursday (excludes bank holiday) will be delivered on the next working day;

 

Goods will be delivered between 8.00 am and 5.30 pm and you must be available to accept the goods within those times. Upon delivery you will be required to sign as proof of receipt and the as to the condition of the goods.

If you are not able to accept the goods a card will be left advising that a call has been made and that the goods have been taken to a local depot operated by our haulier. If you contact the details on the card within a period of 24 hours an alternative delivery day will be arranged without further charge. Should no contact be made within that 24 hour period we reserve the right to include an additional charge which will be paid direct to the haulier.

 

If you are not available to sign for your delivery and have left alternative delivery instructions  when placing your order, you will be deemed to accept the full risks of receipt of those goods. In this instance, in the event of a dispute, proof of delivery will be constituted by proof that our van driver has acted upon those instructions.

 

We cannot be held responsible for the non-performance of any aspect of order delivery arising as a result of incorrect information being provided. You may be responsible for the cost of delivery and return of the goods in these circumstances.   

 

We shall not be liable for the non-performance of any aspect of order delivery arising as a result of circumstances beyond our control.

In the unlikely event that your order should fail to arrive on the relevant delivery day please advise us of the fact by e-mail at sales@anglianmeatproducts.co.uk within a period of 48 hours, providing us with your order reference number and delivery date, and we will investigate the reason and respond to you within a further period of 48 hours from receipt of your e-mail. If, as a result of our investigations, we fail to come up with an appropriate reason for non-delivery or are unable to locate a signed proof of delivery document your order will be deemed by us to be “lost”. In these circumstances you may either cancel your order and we will refund any amounts paid in full, or we will arrange for delivery of the goods on an alternative date.

We cannot be held liable for any consequential loss whatsoever as result of a product being “lost” or not arriving on time.

For every order successfully placed you will receive order and payment confirmation by e-mail within 24 hours. Please do not hesitate to contact us if confirmation is not received within that timeframe.

RETURNS

In the rare event that you wish to return a product to us you should notify us of the reason within seven days of receipt of the goods by e-mail at sales@anglianmeatproducts.co.uk. Returns should be made with the original packaging. We would note that frozen product should be returned using appropriate transport to preserve it’s condition otherwise no credit will be given for the return. Products should be returned to Anglian Meat Products, Threxton Road Industrial Estate, Watton, Norfolk, England IP25 6NG and proof of despatch emailed to us.  Refunds will only be paid in respect of Products returned to us in accordance with these Terms for goods that are damaged or faulty. 

CANCELLATION

We regret that we cannot accept cancellations of contracts for the purchase of perishable goods unless they arrive damaged, faulty or not the item that has been ordered. If any of these circumstances should prevail please use the procedures explained within the returns section above by notifying us within seven days of receipt of the goods and returning the goods accordingly.

You have the right to cancel an order for non-perishable goods within a period of seven days from the date of delivery. In the event  you wish to cancel your order for non-perishable goods under the Distance Selling Regulations then all goods subject to that cancellation must be returned to Anglian Meat Products Limited, Threxton Road Industrial Estate, Watton, Norfolk, IP25 6NG together with the original packaging. It will be your responsibility to take all reasonable care to ensure the goods are returned to us in good condition and responsibility for the costs if returning the product rest with you.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Definitions

‘Product’    means a product displayed for sale on the website;

‘Product Description’ means that part of the website where certain terms and conditions in respect of the individual Product are provided;

‘Working Day’ means Monday to Friday excluding those days that are designated as Public or Bank holidays within the UK;

‘Special Conditions’ means any terms and conditions in the Product Description;

‘Users’ means the users of the website collectively;

‘Personal Information’ means the details provided by you on registration;

‘Cookies’ means small text files which our website places on your computer’s hard drive to store information about your shopping session and to identify your computer;.

‘UK Mainland’ means England, Wales and Scotland;


‘United Kingdom’  means England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands;

To be eligible to purchase Products on this website and lawfully enter into and form contracts with this website under English law you must:

 

• Register by providing your real name, phone number, e-mail address, payment details and other requested information. 
• Be over 18 years of age.
• Stipulate a delivery address in the United Kingdom.  Please note that PO box numbers, hotels and accommodation addresses are not acceptable. 
• Possess a valid credit or debit card issued by a bank acceptable to us. 

 

By making an offer to buy a Product, you specifically authorise us to transmit information (including any updated information) or to obtain information about you from third parties from time to time, including but not limited to your debit or credit card number or credit reports, to authenticate your identity, to validate your credit card, to obtain an initial credit card authorisation and to authorise individual purchase transactions. 

 

Article Submissions
Anglian Meat Products reserves the right to edit, re-purpose or re-publish all articles submitted to Anglian Meat Products in any medium for any reason with proper credit to the author. Proper credit is defined as the author’s name and where possible a link to the author’s website and/or e-mail address, when such information has been included in the submission. The publication of any articles submitted to Anglian Meat Products is solely at the discretion of Anglian Meat Products.

Description of Products

 

Each Product purchased is sold subject to its Product Description which sets out any additional Specific Conditions related to that Product.  

 

Orders

 

We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the website.

 

Contract creation and electronic contracting


The technical steps required to create the contract between you and us are as follows:
• You apply to be a website user
• You place the order for your products on the website by pressing the “place order now” button at the end of the checkout process and making payment.
• We will send to you an order acknowledgement email. This is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from us.  
• Order acceptance and the creation of the contract between you and us will take place on the despatch to you of the Products ordered.

 

We may but are not obliged to notify you of our non-acceptance of an order made by you. We may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawing any Product from this Website whether or not that Product has been sold; removing or editing any materials or content on the Website; refusing to process a transaction or unwinding or suspending any transaction after processing has begun.

 

The contract will be concluded in English.


Pricing.
Prices include VAT at the rate prevailing within the UK and delivery cost unless otherwise stated. 

 

Payment
Payment can be made by any of the methods specified in the payment section of this website and payment will be debited and cleared from your account as set out in the payment section of this website.  You confirm that the credit, debit or store card that is being used is yours. 

 

All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer.  If the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.  


Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers may not be used to purchase Products from the website.

Anglian Meat Products may at any time with or without notice revise these Terms by updating this posting. You are bound by any such revisions if you continue to use the website and should therefore periodically visit this page to review the then current Terms.

 

Waiver
No waiver by us shall be construed as a waiver of any proceeding or succeeding breach of any provision.

 

Survival
Each provision of the Terms shall be construed as separately applying and surviving even if for any reason one or other of those provisions is held to be inapplicable or unenforceable in any circumstances.

 

Entire agreement
These Terms govern our relationship with you. 

 

You confirm that, in agreeing to accept the Terms, you have not relied on any representation save insofar as the same has expressly been made a term of these Terms and you agree that you shall have no remedy in respect of any representation. Your Statutory Rights are not affected by these terms and conditions.

 

Nothing in this Clause shall limit or exclude our liability in respect of any fraudulent or negligent misrepresentation whether or not such has become a term of the Terms.
