Delivery/Returns Info

DELIVERY

We operate a comprehensive UK mainland distribution next day delivery service excluding the Scottish highlands and Islands. The charge for this service will be £4.94 plus VAT at the prevailing rate, irrespective of the size of the order.

Unfortunately due to higher courier charges we cannot deliver to Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and the Scottish highlands and islands. This is any postcodes starting with AB31 - AB38, AB41 6-8, AB42 0-5, AB43 - AB45, AB51- AB56.  BT, FK19- FK21, GY, HS, IM, IV, JE, KA27 - KA28, KW,  PA20 - PA49, PA60 - PA78, PH1, PH5 –  PH11, PH15- PH50, TR21 - TR25,  ZE .

*The service we offer concerning delivery of your goods is as follows:

a) Orders that are received by us by 12.00 hours will be delivered on the next working day;
b) Orders that are received by us after 12.00 hours will be delivered on the day following the next working day.

*The service we offer concerning orders received with frozen products is as follows:
a) Orders that are received by us by 12.00 hours Monday - Thursday (excludes bank holiday) will be delivered on the next working day;

b) Orders that are received by us on a Friday will be delivered the second working day following the Friday;

c) Orders that are received by us after 12.00 hours Monday - Wednesday will be delivered on the day following the next working day.

 

Goods will be delivered between 8.00 am and 5.30 pm and you must be available to accept the goods within those times. Upon delivery you will be required to sign as proof of receipt and the as to the condition of the goods.

If you are not able to accept the goods a card will be left advising that a call has been made and that the goods have been taken to a local depot operated by our haulier. If you contact the details on the card within a period of 24 hours an alternative delivery day will be arranged without further charge. Should no contact be made within that 24 hour period we reserve the right to include an additional charge which will be paid direct to the haulier.

 

If you are not available to sign for your delivery and have left alternative delivery instructions  when placing your order, you will be deemed to accept the full risks of receipt of those goods. In this instance, in the event of a dispute, proof of delivery will be constituted by proof that our van driver has acted upon those instructions.

 

We cannot be held responsible for the non-performance of any aspect of order delivery arising as a result of incorrect information being provided. You may be responsible for the cost of delivery and return of the goods in these circumstances.   

 

We shall not be liable for the non-performance of any aspect of order delivery arising as a result of circumstances beyond our control.

In the unlikely event that your order should fail to arrive on the relevant delivery day please advise us of the fact by e-mail at sales@anglianmeatproducts.co.uk within a period of 48 hours, providing us with your order reference number and delivery date, and we will investigate the reason and respond to you within a further period of 48 hours from receipt of your e-mail. If, as a result of our investigations, we fail to come up with an appropriate reason for non-delivery or are unable to locate a signed proof of delivery document your order will be deemed by us to be “lost”. In these circumstances you may either cancel your order and we will refund any amounts paid in full, or we will arrange for delivery of the goods on an alternative date.

We cannot be held liable for any consequential loss whatsoever as result of a product being “lost” or not arriving on time.

For every order successfully placed you will receive order and payment confirmation by e-mail within 24 hours. Please do not hesitate to contact us if confirmation is not received within that timeframe.

RETURNS

In the rare event that you wish to return a product to us you should notify us of the reason within seven days of receipt of the goods by e-mail at sales@anglianmeatproducts.co.uk. Returns should be made with the original packaging. We would note that frozen product should be returned using appropriate transport to preserve it’s condition otherwise no credit will be given for the return. Products should be returned to Anglian Meat Products, Threxton Road Industrial Estate, Watton, Norfolk, England IP25 6NG and proof of despatch emailed to us.  Refunds will only be paid in respect of Products returned to us in accordance with these Terms for goods that are damaged or faulty. 

CANCELLATION

We regret that we cannot accept cancellations of contracts for the purchase of perishable goods unless they arrive damaged, faulty or not the item that has been ordered. If any of these circumstances should prevail please use the procedures explained within the returns section above by notifying us within seven days of receipt of the goods and returning the goods accordingly.

You have the right to cancel an order for non-perishable goods within a period of seven days from the date of delivery. In the event you wish to cancel your order for non-perishable goods under the Distance Selling Regulations then all goods subject to that cancellation must be returned to Anglian Meat Products Limited, Threxton Road Industrial Estate, Watton, Norfolk, IP25 6NG together with the original packaging. It will be your responsibility to take all reasonable care to ensure the goods are returned to us in good condition and responsibility for the costs if returning the product rest with you.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
